Introducing Penhill Playgroup
Welcome to Penhill Playgroup. We were originally formed in the early 1980's as a private venture, however, it soon became clear that to keep going we would have to make changes. In order to be able to raise funds and maybe even have a premises of our own, we became a Registered Charity.
This means that instead of being owned by an individual we are run by a voluntary committee, made up from parents/carers of children attending the Playgroup and Toddler Group and any money raised goes straight back into the group. The committee is responsible for fundraising, finance, policy making and staffing.
Over the years we have grown and are now open for up to 10 sessions a week. This includes a thriving Toddler Group which operates twice a week.

Half term is Monday 27th October - Friday 31st October inclusive.
Spring Term 2009
Monday 5th January 2009 - Friday 3rd April 2009.
Half term is Monday 16th February - Friday 20th February inclusive.
Summer Term 2009
Monday 20th April 2009 - Wednesday 22nd July 2009.
Half term is Monday 25th May - Friday 29th May inclusive.
We are also closed on Monday 4th May 2009 for the May Bank Holiday
