Introducing Penhill Playgroup
Welcome to Penhill Playgroup. We were originally formed in the early 1980's as a private venture, however, it soon became clear that to keep going we would have to make changes. In order to be able to raise funds and maybe even have a premises of our own, we became a Registered Charity.
This means that instead of being owned by an individual we are run by a voluntary committee, made up from parents/carers of children attending the Playgroup and Toddler Group and any money raised goes straight back into the group. The committee is responsible for fundraising, finance, policy making and staffing.
Over the years we have grown and are now open for up to 10 sessions a week. This includes a thriving Toddler Group which operates twice a week.

Spring Term 2010
Monday 4th January 2010 - Thursday 1st April 2010.
Half term is Monday 15th February - Friday 19th February inclusive.
Summer Term 2010
Monday 19th April 2009 - Friday 23rd July 2010.
Half term is Monday 31st May - Friday 4th June inclusive.
We are also closed on Monday 3rd May 2010 for the May Bank Holiday.
We will also be closed on Election day as the Guide Hall is used as a Polling Station, but as the Election date has not yet been set, we cannot let you know when this will be. We aim to organise our annual outing on this date, if we have enough notice.
